· If the hair is freshly washed and
very wet, make sure to blast the hair before you start your blow dry, as it is
only the last 10% of moisture in the hair that changes the hair structure.
· The same goes for adding hair
products. If you add them when the hair is wet, it will dilute the product and
decrease its effectiveness.
1 Start by sectioning the hair into
nice clean sections that are not too big. Use high heat and power and start on
each section. To get volume, make sure there is enough tension in your brush
and blast the hair from the underneath side of the root, before doing the same
on the topside. Once your root is dry, move to the midlength, making sure to
hold the hair up so you don’t drag the hair down and lose the volume. Make sure
to keep your damp sections away from dry ones throughout.
2 One the hair is fully dry, take the
ends in large sections and wrap half the length around a curling tong to curl
the ends to create a softened look. Once each section is curled, use a paddle
brush to brush each section and finish off the hairstyle. Do not over brush and
lose your volume!
